Ieperfest, dat doorgaat op 12 tot 14 augustus, heeft helaas af te rekenen met twee afzeggingen. Street Dogs en Terror hebben helaas hun aantreden op Ieper Hardcore fest moeten cancelen. We citeren even de volgende berichten:
To our fans, friends and all the promoters: Yesterday we were forced to cancel our upcoming European Tour. I am currently in training with the Boston Fire Department and due to these intensive sessions will not be able to leave for our upcoming tour. Anyone who knows me, or knows what this band stands for, understands that this is a great opportunity for me but we didn't expect it to happen on such short notice. I suggested that the rest of the band would proceed with the tour with a different frontmand but we all agreed that this is not what the Street Dogs stand for. We wouldn’t betray the integrity of our fans with a different/temporary version of the band. We, myself and the entire band, apologize for all the inconveniences this has created but we assure you that we tried everything in our power to make this happen. This temporary setback will not affect the band moving forward. While we are preparing our new record, due for release later this year, no future live commitments will be jeopardized once the training is over. We hope that we can keep on counting on your tremendous love and support for the Street Dogs.

Get well soon, Scott. Hope to have you play next year instead! Replacing a co-headliner this last minute won't be easy. The Sunday line-up is still strong and attractive, but we will of course look for an extra band to add to the bill.
