Another great day for the Belgian label Gio Smet Records, as they sign yet another promising band! CRUX TENEBRIS, a melodic blackened death metal band, hailing from Geraardsbergen, will join the ranks and are planning to release new material in the near future!

Crux Tenebris, formed in 2019 in Geraardsbergen, Belgium, is a metal band fusing melodic death metal with black metal's somber atmosphere. Known for its intense and apocalyptic sound, the band gained acclaim with its debut album "Incinerated Minds" (2019) and its follow-up, "Last Supper" (2022). Their 2024 release, "Poena Mortis Per Ignem," promises an even more aggressive edge. Influenced by death metal and orchestral music, Crux Tenebris explores themes of death and existentialism through powerful guitar riffs and guttural vocals. The current lineup includes Ken Van Der Cruyssen (Vocals), Lex From the Cross (Guitar), Kurt Löwenthal (Bass), and Goran Vanhoutte (Drums). They continue to expand their creative boundaries.
