Epinikion is a female fronted metal band from the Benelux. The founders of the band are from the Netherlands. The co-musicians come from different countries. The band Epinikion is now based in Essen in Northern Belgium, close to the border with the Netherlands. And the word “Epinikion” comes from the Greek and approximately means “hymn for the victor”. In ancient Greece, the heroic stories of athletes after their victories in major events were sung about in an epinikion. The band was founded in 2021, and the album debut “Inquisition” was completed one year later.

The album was produced by Jacob Hansen, who created an amazingly clear yet beautifully heavy sound through his signature mixing and mastering. For the artwork, Giannis Nakos crafted near-magical visuals that perfectly capture the essence of the album and its songs.
The release of ‘The Force of Nature’ will be celebrated with a spectacular release show on February 6 at pop venue Sound Dog in Breda - the same place where the first video “The Force of Nature” was recorded. A new era for Epinikion begins with this fantastic package of 12 new songs that will appeal to both metal fans and mainstream listeners.
