Belgian hardrock/metal band Painted Scars is back with a new single: Higher. The track is part of a full album coming out in 2027. A true energizer, the track pulls you along on a 220 BPM rollercoaster ride from start to finish, leaving you wanting another ride when it ends. The song is about enlightenment, growth through letting go, and exploring outside of your own frame of reference.
The release follows a period of regional live shows in 2025 and marks the band’s first new release since their debut EP ‘Kintsugi’ in 2024. A music video for “Higher” is also in the works, with teaser clips already available online.
