Baby Fire is an all-female trio which combines the energy of post-punk with feminine frailty. The strings are rough, the melodies catchy, the voices enthrall.
The band from Brussels has opened for Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Part Chimp, Lydia Lunch, Neptune, etc. and played shows in the US, France, Germany and Holland.
Gaby, Isabel and Dominique are currently working on Gold, their third album which will be produced by Pierre Vervloesem (dEUS, Madensuyu, Flat Earth Society…) and due for release in October 2016, with your kind support.
OUR PROJECT
Dominique: "Art is vital to us. Our live shows are intense moments during which we share our love of music and our joy of being on stage, fully present in what we do. Our aim when going into the recording studio is to capture the energy of our live shows. To achieve this we will be recording all instruments simultaneously, under the guidance of producer Pierre Vervloesem."
WHAT WE ASK
We are currently completing the songwriting and arrangements for our third record. Our piggy bank contains sufficient to pay for the recording studio, sound engineer and mastering. With your help we are hoping to raise €4,000 to pay for the cost of:
- Mixing: €1000
- Physical production: €1000
- Artwork and design: €500
- Publicity: €1500
- Fees for Indiegogo and PayPal: 10-15%
WHAT WE OFFER
We are working independently in order to keep all creative and financial control over our record. This will enable us to create an authentic and unique album. We also offer some special presents - to be discovered at your right.
