Two guys from Kortrijk make music: energetic, experimental and full of pumping bass lines and catchy as hell! After winning the prestigious Rock Rally competition they were quickly added to theBelgian electro familyof Goose, The Subs and Front 242. They just dropped the first single Holy love from their forthcoming debut album Silver Souls(out on N.E.W.S. Records 06/05/2016, home to Netsky).
They also shot a video during the 'Carnaval de Ituren y Zubièta' inSpain over the span of two days, combining scripted material and real-live events.
Wandering through the streets of the Basque landscape, the two brothers of Compact Disk Dummies get caught up in strange summoning rituals performed by a religious sect. While visually recalling the look and feel of seventies horror flicks, the song focusses on the themes of questioning faith and religion and ultimately trying to escape from it. All of this is mixed with an instrumentation of pumping beats, eighties synth-stabs and a thrilling horn section.
