De organisatie van Desertfest, dat doorgaat op 14 tot en met 16 oktober in zaal TRIX, had laten weten dat ze tijdens de zomer de eerste headliner zouden bekend maken. Deze eerste headliner is niemand minder dan GOAT, de Zweedse Powerhouse band is enorm populair en zal zeker het dak er laten afgaan. Maar er is meer. We citeren het bericht dat we te lezen kregen via de website:
It is with great pleasure we announce that the Swedish powerhouse GOAT will be part of the 2016 Antwerp Desertfest line-up. Their eclectic approach to rock and dance grooves and their blinding stageshow are right in tune with the open-minded vibe we want to bring to our festival, and we're confident it will be one of the highlights of DF Antwerp 2016. But of course, that's not all! We have some more heavy hitters to disclose, with Atomic Bitchwax and Monkey3 both confirmed for the festival. And to round off this epic set, how about the blues jams of Lonely Kamel, the rising stars of the scene Salem's Pot, and the killer powerhouse from Greece 1000mods!
