Since they play a lot of great gigs lately and our photographer at the Dour festival posted about it I got into their great music and it’s clear that this band from Brussels is really worth it! They clearly showed off their talent on records and on stage!

Return To Dust starts with a disco and 80’s pop touch. The vocals sound sweet. The song sounds like a great starter for a gig: slowly building up the party. The backings towards the end give the song more energy and a real festival minded vibe where people can sing-a-long.

All Cool All Fine gets a cool leading bass guitar and sounds like a nice duet (Ooghe and Beerten). The sweetness withing the vocals gives the song a floating and heavenly touch. It’s like announcing spring will come (after a hard winter). It’s the best vibe and will give you new energy!

Due Date goes on with the sweetness and voices getting in symbiose with each other! The bass play is really great, just as the drums! I hear more and more an international sound!

Bestseller starts as an 80’s new wave track but changes into a modern post-punk track with hammering drums and a synth on fire! Didi and Anne-Sophie are on fire whilst the tempo goes up! This one must be a hit on stage!

Open Door starts slowly and gets a New Wave touch before changing into an indie rock track. Once again the vocals sound very sweet. I hear a trumpet during the breakdown (and a floating feel merges).

Nu Nu sounds a bit sensual and even a bit tropical. The sweetness mixes well with the heat of the song and the bass play that gets an North-African touch.

Feel Feel gives us a mix of deep bass male vocals and more high notes on the female side. I really love the vocals! The song gets a mid-tempo and sounds fresh and hot and yes it’s clearly a summer song.

Heart In The Open starts with a retro post-punk sound and vocals that remind me of female singers from the 80’s that got massive hits and the song gets lifted to that same level!

Yoshime sounds really happy, like ready to leave the house on a Friday night to party all weekend! It’s great indie pop/rock lead by Didi’s vocals and backed up by great screams that heats up the song!

Getting a nice spot at Nieuwe Lichting, semi-final of Humo’s Rock Rally, 3 great albums (getting screwed over by Covid-19), but now back on track with a lot of great tracks and getting discovered by me (after a great gig at Dour Festival 2023) and now blaming myself for not discovering them earlier! Yup, Belgium got talent! Kuddos to Anne-Sophie Ooghe, Dieter Beerten (aka Didi Gonzalez) and Koen Weverbergh!
