The Foreign Resort have released a brand new single! 'Resound' is available wherever you get your music now, via Toronto's Artoffact Records.
The standalone single simultaneously emanates different moods with its bewitching moodiness and unsurprisingly fun, captivating lyrics, paired with flawlessly executed pop-infused post punk instrumentals and vocal delivery. Just try not to dance!
On the new song, the band comments: "'Resound' is the sound of The Foreign Resort in party mode. We wanted to try a different mood, while still keeping the energy and this is what came out of it: Less contemplating, more dancing!
Lyricwise, its a lovesong with a happy ending. Don’t worry though, there will be lots of darkness, despair and unhappy endings on the full album."
It's indeed a great song and might do it on the dancefloor. One thing that struck m are the vocals: I can only thing of a young Robert Smith whilst listening to them! It's a top track that deserves exposure!
