'Wildmouth' is the third track from Tristan’s upcoming debut album ‘Wellif’, set for release on October 22nd, 2022 via [PIAS].

“Wildmouth is a mix of my love for 90s r&b and electronic figures like Oneohtrix Point Never and Arca”, says Isolde Van den Bulcke aka Tristan.

“The song is about 2 people who found 'love' or rather collective loneliness together. They’d be better off without each other, but have become dependent on putting their own happiness aside for what feels "comfortable". It's a nod to our social media reality where everyone sees love not as a verb, but rather as a passive thing.”

'Wildmouth' is now available on all platforms: tristan.lnk.to/wildmouth

Composing, producing and performing her own music, Tristan studied jazz vocals at the Conservatory of Ghent and Tilburg University and at the tender age of 17, she took her first steps towards a promising recording career when she formed SIAM, and then won the prestigious East Flemish music award, Oost.

The ambient landscapes of her spellbinding debut EP Illusje, released in 2018 to critical acclaim, led to Belgium’s leading arts and culture publication Focus Knack to promptly ask, “Is this the Flemish Melanie de Biasio?” Her genre-defying art-pop/jazz/electro EP successor delidomia was released in 2019 and received support from numerous tastemaker media including radio support from Worldwide FM and Robert Elms on BBC Radio London.

Her live shows have not gone unnoticed with sold-out shows in her hometown Ghent and rave reviews for further shows at We Are Open (Trix) and Gent Jazz. She also caught the attention of Belgian-Egyptian musician Tamino who invited her to support him on tours throughout France, Belgium and the Netherlands. She just supported dEUS frontman Tom Barman’s TaxiWars on a 6-date Belgium tour this June.
