We have talked a lot with Ed in the following weeks after we met. I had just became a father as he just had too. Our mutual idols, Damien Rice, Bon Iver, soccer. And guitar of course. Exact same age, just one week appart. Everything made it so obvious: we would write together.
He wanted to sing in French, and I wanted to sing in English.
I arrived at his place in London with my computer, my sound card and my microphone. He was in charge of the guitars.
And in his basement we recorded stuff.
