After the Eurosong adventure and racking up over 15 million streams and 7.452 radio plays (!!!) for the single Before The Party’s Over, Brussels based singer, composer and actor Mustii today surprises his fans with the release of his brand new single. TELL THE KIDS IT’S ALRIGHT is 3 minutes of high octane pop music spiced up with flourishes of new wave, glamrock and 21st century post-punkrock.
“It’s a response to ‘Before The Party's Over”, Mustii explains, “In that song I painted a portrait of an anxious generation. ‘TELL THE KIDS IT’S ALRIGHT’ is an attempt to answer the questions raised in BTPO. It’s an encouragement to overcome difficulties and traumas and to come out stronger. It's also a very personal song about my state of mind in the aftermath of Eurovision, an extraordinary adventure that took me through the worst and the best”.
TELL THE KIDS IT’S ALRIGHT plays out like a short movie with different characters: a drag king who collects sports cars, a homeless man in a brothel, a starving street dog, the janitor of a suburban council estate and a teenage couple... Lonely souls who have in common the search for inner peace and love. It’s an impressive puzzle set to a highly infectious melody with a chorus that pops and screams for a big stage!
