A new crusade arises from the sinister clutches of the underworld: The mighty WARKINGS enter the battleground and face ghoulish demons with a formidable weapon made of pure Heavy Metal. Join the clan of the reincarnated with the new full-length album, Revenge, to be released on July 31, 2020 via Napalm Records.

The four ancient kings, a roman Tribune, a wild Viking, a noble Crusader and a martial Spartan, gathered in the golden halls of Valhalla, escaped from the realms of obscurity and stole their souls from the Lord of the abyss. In a bloodthirsty fury, the demons seek revenge on the WARKINGS, but Odins legates are more than ready to vanquish the Monarchs of the dusk with their hard-hitting anthems.

The opener Freedom initiates the valiant battle with folklore-like heroic elements coalescing with uncompromising heavy pieces. The WARKINGS’ swords are forged with iron riffs, thundering drums and emblematic, powerful vocals, It’s a great opener with cool vocals. Maximus is already a known song as you all already watched the clip and can by now sing along with the strong chorus! This song will be glued inside your head for ages! Without any doubt this one will be a hit once performed on stage!

A song that will become a new hymn for the band is for sure the catchy and powered up track called Warriors. I’m pretty sure the clip will help so that it becomes a hit all over the world! Just listen to the track and let the music talk!

Fight in The Shade starts softly, but once the chorus is active we get a very catchy track with lots of hammering, but somehow the melancholy prevails over the blood and sweat of the fighters (and actually it’s not bad at all). More fighting and a great melody comes with Odins sons feat. The Queen of The Damned. The percussion and the growls lift the track to a higher level too. Banners High gives us a cool solo and also a lower tempo. It sounds a bit as if we are slowly marching towards an epic battle and hide from the enemy and prep for more hacking and slashing! Mirror, Mirror is the next one and no it’s a not a female fronted track but a hard raging track with bloodthirsty fighters taking over the vocals. Next is the death angel’s chant Azrael where the vigor of the fighters takes over whilst marching towards more fights, more bloodshed, more deaths. Battle of Marathon is a melodic and pretty epic track with some nice guitar passages. More variation in the vocals comes with the final track: Warking and delivers us a great closing of an epic album!

In The past I have been a fan of Manowar, Iron Maiden and Amon Amarth, as of today the Warkings will get a space next to them! This new album will hopefully be picked up by a lot of new fans like me, so let’s spread their music and not the virus!
