Dirk Vreys (vocalist known from A SLICE OF LIFE (post-punk) and the curetributeband the obsCURE) launches today his first single with his new project: Silent Flag: Enter The Batcave. Fans of New Wave, Gothic and Electro will enjoy this one! Spread the word and not the disease!
I always adore what Dirk does: with his mates or with his cover band! What he does now sounds really like the kind of music I want to listen to! I love his vocals and the musical touch! The song is catchy and might fill the dancefloor (or at least make you start to dance at home). The Enzo Kreft remix (another guy from Belgium) bring a great alternative version that is as good as the original (mor into New Wave and lesser into gothic)! The Controversial Remix focusses on the guitars and gets a harder sound (overloaded by the cut off voice). It reminds me a bit of this other great but more into industrial minded project: Stin Scatzor (count me in as a fan). The Jupiter remix adds more instruments and some distortion on the vocals. The Juno Noel 90's trance remix is not my kind of stuff. But hey: the song is completely transformed into something totally different and will be for sure something for fans of 90's trance with a dark shade and a bit of a doomed feeling. As last one we get the Long Edit: for those who love longer songs!
