Goth 'n' roll pioneers THE 69 EYES have been haunting stages all over the world for 33 years and seem to be a truly immortal part of the dark rock/metal scene. Call Me Snake starts with a tone that reminds me of Vision Thing (The Sisters of Mercy) but changes fast into a gothic rock track with rambling guitars and screaming vocals.
California sounds as if our Helsinki vampires have been residing there for ages, caved in and are telling how much they are attached to this city.
Last song is live but it’s recorded in such a way that you nearly hear it’s all live! Two Horns Up! Lucifer rocks! I miss a bit the live feedback. This one will only be on the vinyl.
