Following their much acclaimed, latest studio album, Final Days (2021, AFM Records), this October sees power metal force ORDEN OGAN release their special tribute to the album itself:
Final Days: Orden Ogan and Friends is featuring a top league of high class guest vocalists such as, among others, Stu Block (Iced Earth, Annihilator), Peavy Wagner (Rage), Andy B. Franck (Brainstorm), Chris Boltendahl (Grave Digger), Elina Siirala (Leaves' Eyes), Leif Jensen, Ross Thompson (Van Canto), Dennis Diehl (Any Given Day), (Ross The Boss) or Frank Beck (Gamma Ray).
The original song versions with Seeb are featured on ORDEN OGAN’s latest magnum opus, Final Days, that has been released in March 2021 via AFM Records. The album, once again produced by the extraordinary vocalist himself, turned into a real smasher and proves: the Germans are among the best songwriters in heavy metal! Final Days combines finesse with huge riffs, clever arrangements with great melodies and even after the umpteenth spin you still discover something new.
December sounds strong, powerful and yet very melodic. The song sounds like written about the upcoming December of 2021 in the USA and in the Ukraine. The chorus also refers a bit to John Snow in Winterfell: the winter has come! This is the only new song on this album!
Heart of The Android feat. Peavy Wagner (Rage) sounds a bit like Lordi anno 2022 and that is pretty cool! I adore the melodic sound mixed with rambling guitars and hard-hitting drums! The guitars are really succulent!
In The Dawn of The AI feat Ross Thompson (Van Canto) + Franck Beck (Gamma Ray) is a cool rocker with a sound that will blast through your house for a while! A really great metal rock track!
Inferno feat. Nils Molin (Amaranthe) has a strong chorus, really great backings and the best sound & tempo. I clearly hear Nils’ influence on this song! This will be a real powerhouse song on stage and might become a fan favourite track!
Let The Fire Reign featuring Stu Block (session singer and vocalist for Into Eternity,Follow me, Iced Earth, Annihilator): is a strong heavy metal track with powerful backings and a symphonic touch. The chorus is very catchy too!
Interstellar featuring Andy B. Franck (Brainstorm) explodes from the start and hits very hard! Andy’s vocals fit really well within the structure of this song. I hope he gets his shot to perform it with them on stage!
Alone In The Dark featuring Chris Boltendahl (Grave Digger) + Marta Gabriel (Crystal Viper) is a magical song that gets magical voices to guide it! I dig this new version! The song is melancholic and melodic!
Black Hole ft. Leif Jensen (Dew Scented) becomes a pure rager with a symphonic touch. The backings give the song that extra strong push in the back! Feel the energy!
Absolution For Our Final Days ft. Elina Siirala (Leaves' Eyes) has already been released with a video and has been played over 70 times on my personal playlist! Is my most favourite track on this album! This new version has just all it needs to become a smashing chart hitting topper but somehow hasn’t made it on the Belgium radio’s (where I live). The vocals fit like a handmade glove within the global package!
Hollow ft. Marc Lopes (Ross the Boss) sounds really great, has the perfect tempo. To me it sounds like Marc Lopes simply wrote and recorded this song and not the other way around! What an absolute fabulous result!
It Is Over ft. Dennis Diehl (Any Given Day) starts like a ballad but changed fast into a hard hitter with yet a sweet touch. The result is really good!
Fields Of Sorrow (Orchestral Version) is the perfect closing track and is in this orchestral version in it’s best version! Feel the power, hear the potential! This is a wow momentum!
It was a real pleasure listening to this album! I’m just wandering how they managed to create it the way I hear it today? But I think the modern ages make it really easy to hand out music and let people from all over the world work out their track from a home studio! It’s also pretty unique and haven’t seen it much as normally you have to be dead to be the subject of this kind of enormous projects! This album has the potential to become a hit album and just needs good feedback and good promotion! I hope it works out well as all the involved people deserve it!
