Never heard of these folks, but as I had a lot of fun with other bands featuring on this label I jumped on the ship and got a grip on them! Be ready for thei great horror punk tracks!

Siblings of Samhain began life as an acoustic duo in 2017, releasing their sold-out debut EP ‘Dark, Dead and Deranged’, before expanding to a full-throttle horror punk unit with their debut full-length album ‘Hyde’ in 2018. After successful UK tours and several releases throughout the next few years, Siblings of Samhain are back with a new line-up to take over the world. Expect heavy guitar, pounding drums and earth-rattling bass to compliment Danny Demented’s crooning vocals and full-band harmonies when cranking Siblings of Samhain up to 245(!)

“Do you want to party?” Those lines sum up the Return of the Living Dead series in a nutshell. Strap yourselves in as Siblings of Samhain take you for a ride through the series in a hardcore-laden zombie-fest.

Every fan of the 1985 Dan O’Bannon classic will immediately recognise the band’s spin on the classic Trioxin theme, but each track that follows pays homage to all five of the films in the ROTLD series.

What better way to continue that tribute to Return of The Living Dead than to include ‘Medico’, the six-string behemoth from the almighty UK-Zombie[1]thrashers Send More Paramedics. Get your Trioxin fix by spinning this disc, and don’t forget… In case of emergency, call 1 (800) 454-8000.

Vocalist Danny Demented had this to say: “We want brains! These 6 tracks of Trioxin terror span the Return of the Living Dead films with a hardcore kick in the face!

Trioxin Theme is a strange intro with just some screams in the end and rolling guitars. Yeah, you have to know the history of this song to understand it fully!

Back From The Grave sounds like a fired up punk song mixed with a metal attitude. The sax is a nice extra. I like the vocals who sound really good and very clean!

They Want Brains has a melancholic and a punk side, mixed with a synth and great vocals. It’s a cool song!

Die For Her sounds faster and harsher, with also more screaming but retains a catchy side and becomes almost a sing-a-long song!

Zombie Soldiers Are Go is a smasher with great backings and a catchy phase. This one sounds like pure and first class horror punk!

Z (feat. Guest guitar solo by ‘Medico’ of ‘Send More Paramedics’) rocks in a heavy way and closes this way too short EP way too fast with a last and very strong blow!

I can say I enjoyed this short trip, escaped the zombies and escaped the grave! 2023, here we come!
