Well, this is the new project of Kristell (known from Lovelorn Dolls), it’s a more personal and electronic thing (dreamy pop with an ethereal feel). For the moment this EP is a try out, more is yet to come!

It starts with the poppy/electronic track These Pretty Things: softly sang and sometimes even whispered with a catchy tune. It’s totally different from the guitar sound (Lovelorn Dolls) i'm used to hear, but this one will haunt your head for a while. I feel a lot of potential! The soft breakbeats and slice of drum’n bass sound is pretty cool. To me it sounds like typical stuff for A. Matrix Records! Moving Sands hurts a bit my ears with the high tones and high pitch. I feel like the vocals could have been ameliorated a bit. The slow beats are nice and in the distance there is even a guitar playing. I also hear the French tongue in the singing. Lost in Lies (Cosmic Battlefield Remix) seems like touched by Yves Schelpe (and I hear some Silver influences): more techno, more beats and a warm sound, perfectly worked out with the perfect balance between vocals and music! The Radiographic mix of Moving Sands is a clear improvement. Better/polished vocals and better balance between vocals and music. With a more into synth/pop versus free jazz feel. I even hear a guitar in it! More into disco/techno is the Restriction 9 remix of These Pretty Things. The biggest surprise comes in the end with the magical Naiya Cominos piano edit: this is simply the best version and proves that there is indeed a great artist performing a great track! Somehow it feels as if all that was needed for this track was to get stripped with just a piano and the vocals! Feel the real emotions, get touched by the vocals and the piano!

SIN.SIN has potential and will grow and who knows …
